Topping-Out Ceremony: Continentale Dortmund

Last Wednesday, together with Continentale Versicherung, Dortmund's Deputy Mayor Norbert Schilff, and many other guests, we celebrated the topping-out ceremony of the Continentale Campus. The new headquarters of the insurance company can accommodate approximately 1,900 employees and will become the new landmark of Dortmund's 'Stadtkrone Ost'. We are thrilled to be involved in this project and would like to express our gratitude to kadawittfeldarchitektur and HOCHTIEF for their excellent collaboration.

Office trip to Antwerpen

Our long-awaited office trip finally took place last week. Until the departure, the majority of the staff didn't know where the trip was going. The joy was even greater, and it was fantastic that all three locations had the opportunity to come together outside of work. At this point, a big thank you to Helen and Max for organizing this trip for us!

Topping-out ceremony: ITM Augsburg

The topping-out ceremony for the Institute for Theoretical Medicine (ITM) in Augsburg was celebrated yesterday. In addition to Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder, the following persons were in attendance: Minister of Construction Christian Bernreiter, Minister of Science Markus Blume, Augsburg's Mayor Eva Weber and the President of the University of Augsburg, Prof. Dr. Sabine Doering-Manteuffel. The new institute was designed by BHBVT architects and will soon accommodate approximately 330 employees in addition to 350 students. Overhanging building spaces, full-storey beams over several floors, and the high requirements of the fair-faced concrete were noteable challenges in the structural engineering.
